The Center for Architecture promotes public understanding and appreciation of architecture and design through educational programs for K-12 students and teachers, families, and the general public. Our programs take place at the Center for Architecture and in schools and community sites throughout the New York metropolitan area.
While we welcome material donations of all kinds, we are currently seeking digital camera donations for our Summer Programs. If you have any used electronics you wish to donate to the Center for Architecture’s programs, you may do so through Recycling for Charities.
Additionally, below is our wish list of particularly useful materials:
- Foam core
- Poster board or other cardboard/chipboard
- Material samples
- Construction paper
- Tracing paper
- Tape and glue
- Plexiglass
- Architecture magazines
- Colored pencils
- Architectural scales
- X-Acto blades and holders
- Architectural models and drawings
- Model parts (trees, people)
- General office supplies
