The Center for Architecture is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2016 scholarship program. This year, the Scholarship Committee awarded the Women’s Auxiliary Eleanor Allwork Scholarship to:
Micaela Barker, University at Buffalo
Xueping Li, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Sergey Pigach, Pratt Institute
In addition, the following two students received the Center for Architecture Design Scholarship:
Christopher Brockhoft, Columbia University
Clara Pugsley, Cooper Union
The Eleanor Allwork Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for students seeking their first degree in architecture, while the Center for Architecture Design Scholarship also includes students studying design, engineering, planning, and related disciplines. The jury looks at students’ academic performance, aesthetic ability, skill, and financial need.
The next AIANY scholarship deadline is 11.01.16 for the Stewardson Keefe LeBrun Travel Grant. The $15,000 grant is awarded to further the personal and professional development of an architect in early or mid-career. For more information and to download an application, click here.
