Join the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) and Program Partners for an exciting announcement about a climate innovation program promoting mass timber.
Building material innovation plays a critical role in achieving New York City’s carbon reduction targets. Mass timber, a low-carbon alternative to concrete and steel, will require critical considerations of code compliance, fire safety and structural integrity to scale in NYC. As a part of NYC Climate Week, NYCEDC is convening key public and private industry stakeholders to discuss opportunities for mass timber design and construction in New York City.
