On January 23, 2018, the City’s Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) began the process to amend its rules. This is part of an initiative to streamline the process for approving everyday work on designated properties. The new rules will also provide more transparency and efficiency in the regulatory process.

LPC hosted a public hearing on the proposed rules on March 27th. In advance of that, attendees were invited to a briefing with LPC Chair Meenakshi Srinivasan to learn more about the proposed rules amendments. You can find more information on the proposed rules here.
