The Center for Architecture, AIA New York, and our greater design community mourn the passing of Joan K. Davidson. Joan’s unmatched leadership and generosity made her a pathbreaking advocate for improved quality of life for all New Yorkers.  A philanthropist and preservationist, Joan was a champion for the city’s architecture, design, and cultural landscape.

We will continue to honor the legacy of Joan K. Davidson and her work with the J.M. Kaplan Fund at the Center for Architecture’s Annual Gala, Common Bond. We hope you will join us in recognizing Joan’s instrumental work for our community.
