Tom Phifer of Thomas Phifer and Partners received the 2016 President’s Award on October 27, 2016 at the AIANY Heritage Ball. Since 1997, Phifer’s New York-based firm has designed numerous museums, cultural and education institutions including the Corning Museum of Glass, the United States Courthouse in Salt Lake City, the Rice University Brochstein Pavilion, and the North Carolina Museum of Art. V produced, filmed, and edited by Arbuckle Industries.
