This year on Tuesday, November 28, the Center for Architecture is participating in its second #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving.

In 2016, more than 50,000 organizations in 98 countries came together to celebrate #GivingTuesday. This holiday season, we invite you to join the movement and celebrate the spirit of giving on Tuesday, November 28.

Proceeds from #GivingTuesday will help subsidize the cost of Student Day programs for deserving Title I schools, who often have limited access to outside enrichment for their students. The Center for Architecture’s Student Days are engaging two-hour workshops that introduce K-12 school groups to key topics in architecture, such as skyscraper design, scale model building, urban planning, bridge engineering, and green design. Teachers receive pre- and post-visit resources to help them extend student learning back in their classrooms. Your gift will give low-income children an opportunity to build their design skills and get excited about architecture.

Each year, our Student Day programs reaches over 3,400 students; with your help through #GivingTuesday we hope to engage more than ever before! Help us to continue offering Title I schools these discounted field trips to the Center for Architecture by donating today.
