The Center for Architecture in conjunction with the American Institute of Architects New York is pleased to offer a new program for current New York City high school students interested in learning more about the field of architecture. Selected participants will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and on-site learning at a local architecture firm.

The Discover Architecture! program is held during the NYC public school mid-winter break, and selected students attend a mandatory orientation followed by sessions held from 10am-3pm during the break. Information about the program dates and applications for February 2020 will be available in the fall of 2019.

Eligible students must be in their sophomore or junior year of high school in New York City. We are looking for students who are most interested and/ or who would most benefit from this opportunity. While no prior experience is necessary, an interest in architecture or art is a plus.
