Amy Macdonald is an Associate Principal of the Property Loss Consulting Practice and the leader of Resilience at Thornton Tomasetti. With a background in civil engineering, she was instrumental in the development of NYU Langone Medical Center’s flood and hazard mitigation strategy; the grant proposal she spearheaded became the second largest award granted by FEMA for a single project. Macdonald is an active member of the Risk Management Society (RIMS) and the Natural Hazard Mitigation Association and is a member of the AIANY Design for Risk and Reconstruction Committee.
