A dramatic transformation of Manhattan’s west side is underway at Hudson Yards. For the first time, the public is invited to connect with the design and architecture of the historic development and engage directly with the visionaries who are redefining New York’s skyline.

A two-month exhibition at the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter / Center for Architecture will showcase the 26-acre Hudson Yards development and feature a rotating dynamic space where architects and designers will present never seen before elements of the design process and evolution of the massive project.

An eight week speaker series will complement the exhibit and enable visitors to hear from, and interact with, the celebrated architects and designers working on the project including David Childs, FAIA; Liz Diller; Howard Elkus, FAIA; David Rockwell, AIA and Thomas Woltz, FASLA. As part of the series, Bill Pedersen, FAIA, of Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, the creative force behind some of the world’s tallest and most iconic towers will reveal the vision and process behind the Hudson Yards master site plan and the soaring commercial towers during NYCxDESIGN on May 16.

Never before have civic leaders, city partners and acclaimed members of the design and architectural community come together to unveil the details of such a city-altering project, destined to become the new heart of New York.

Anyone interested in this historic project is invited to join the conversation. Engage with the project leaders and the architect and design teams using #HudsonYards and #NHNY (New Heart of New York).
